Fi-Plan Partners sponsored this golf tournament to benefit Prince of Peace School which provides a curriculum which fosters spiritual, academic, physical, and moral growth.

As Gold Sponsors of the tournament, Fi-Plan Partners executives Greg Powell, Quint Cook and Mike Randolph played a round of golf, including one hole with former Alabama Head Coach Gene Stallings, to benefit The Rise School which provides the highest quality of early childhood education services to children with Down Syndrome.

Greg sits with European Union Ambassador to the United States, John Bruton and University faculty at the Samford Business Network-Birmingham.  The ambassador spoke on the European Union's economic impact on Alabama including incoming and outgoing business.

Once again the team at Fi-Plan Partners supports Camp SAM at the Red Nose Ball.  The Ball, held at the Cahaba Grand Conference Center began with a silent auction followed by a live auction.  This event, hosted by Mike Royer, NBC 13 Anchor, raised $475,000 for Camp Smile-A-Mile that serves children with cancer.

Greg explained how financial planning and wealth management is important for them to start understanding.  Greg appreciated the enthusiasm and feedback from the students on how the Your Financial House® process was in terms they could understand and apply to their lives.

Fi-Plan Partners sponsored a Samford Business Network-Birmingham breakfast at the Harbert Center.  Greg Powell welcomed the record attendance and then relinquished the podium to Ms. Sandra B. Cochran, Chief Executive Officer and President of Books-A-Million, the third largest book retailer in the nation.

Fi-Plan Partners sponsored the first meeting in January with Mike Davis, Head Basketball Coach at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, as the special guest speaker.  Miss Alabama Melinda Toole sang a song at the opening of the meeting.

Fi-Plan Partners hosted a seminar at (Mossy Grove Schoolhouse Restaurant) where Miss Alabama Melinda Toole spoke regarding her platform on character.  Greg followed with a presentation regarding Your Financial House process and how it relates to clients financial blueprints.

Greg & Peggy attended a Samford Candlelight Dinner honoring Martha Ann Cox as Alumni of the Year.  In addition Greg was chosen and recognized as President Elect of Samford University's Alumni Counsel for 2008

Mike, Emily & Amy attended the American Printing Open House and Silent Auction for the Fall Fundraiser for Birmingham Advertising Federation.

Greg attended this wonderful event with Stallings' family members for the unveiling of Coach Gene Stallings' statue in front of the University of Alabama football stadium.
